I did really well at the fair!!!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all of your support for my fair entries. I have to make this quick because I'm at my sister's house (roomie's computer acting up) and they are ready to leave.

I came home yesterday to a message from the fair letting me know that they had scheduled me this coming Monday morning to have my picture taken as I had won 2 divisions in the fair!!!

I was beside myself and bouncing off of the walls. The divisions were bread machine ( I had made an onion rosemary focaccia) and the appetizer division (goat cheese w/sundried tomato, garlic and basil spread).

I went to the fair this morning and found that I had won a 1st prize for my dehydrated roasted garlic powder and 3rd place for TamiK's almond roca. I want to encourage anyone who has ever wanted to compete to do so. Thank you all again for your support!!

I am so pleasantly surprised and plan on attending the awards ceremony at the insistance of my family

CONGRATULATIONS!! It brought back memories of growing up. As a kid, I belonged to 4H and entered regularly. I remember the thrill of winning! Made the hardwork worth it, gave a lot of confidence too.
