Can't find white peppercorns and coriander seed today. What would be the equivalent of ground white pepper and ground coriander. Please help soon.!! Need it for tonight. Thanks!LaurieC

The recipe calls for 2 T of white peppercorns and 1T of coriander seed. Then you are supposed to toast them in a skillet. Don't know if my substitution will taste the same. LaurieC

LaurieC,
First of all, this is a fabulous recipe! We loved it! I didn't have white pepper corns or coriander seeds either, so I just used the same amounts of each in "ground" form. Actually, I probably used less of the pepper because we don't like things super hot. (Obviously, I also skipped the toasting step. ) It came out great! Hope it works out for you...

Peggy, Thank you so much!!! Am considering making it now for tomorrow night. I've already made the marinade! Do you think if I put the marinade on the chicken now that it would be overpowering by tomorrow late afternoon>?? Thanks in advance!! LaurieC

Laurie,
I would hesitate on marinating it overnight. The flavors are very bold and I fear it may be too bold. Just my humble opinion...
