I just wanted to put out a shout out for a company that is responsive and sincere with their customer service.

I bought a case of juice bottles called Wadda Juice at Costco. I have bought them before when they were doing a demo. They taste good and are pure juice with water (so that lowers the sugar). I like the packaging too as it is recyclable and also is a sippy bottle rather than a pouch or box which my 3 year old tends to squeeze and get all over.

Anyhow, this time we drank most of the case (12 come in the case--with mixed flavors--2 different kinds) and one we opened tasted sour and horrible!!! It was sealed as far as I could tell.

I figured it was weird that one was bad (although there was one still not opened in the case) so i wrote them in case it was a problem they weren't aware of.

They wrote back very quickly and completely explained how it can happen in one out of a case (the seal gets damaged and air gets in--possibly from the palletts being stacked) and were very apologetic. They explained they are a new company with state of the art technology packaging so they learn on the job so to speak (looks like they may be working on a redesign of the foil seal).

They offered to send me some replacements. I got a box with 10 bottles (2 of each of 5 flavors) and a handful of various Wadda juice toys for the kids (small frisbee, pen with a maze in it, bouncy ball, tattoos and silly putty).

I wasn't expecting all the freebies, but it was nice to have a company that personally responds in a timely manner and explains rationally what could have happened. I also had written a thanks to them for the response and that I like their product, and he wrote back an email from his blackberry thanking me for the support.

It is so nice to hear about a company that cares about their customers. It seems so rare today. I will look out for this juice at my Costco.
