After waiting 4 months for Delta to start my new subscription. They tell me that Cooking Light no longer as of end of December accepts subscriptions from magazine dealers. I will get a refund, but I just wanted others to beware.

Well that sucks! Hopefully they'll start offering better deals for subscriptions like Condé Nast publications has done (they only charge $1/issue). Otherwise, I'll just get the recipes from the website since I refuse to pay for advertising...

I waited just over 3 months for Delta to renew our subcription... they never did and I finally got my refund, but they didn't tell me what you were told.
Anyway, I just renewed my subscription from Amazon.com instead last week and it showed up with CL three days later! So, they are still taking orders from dealers.

I will be interested to see if CL does stop accepting orders from dealers. Food & Wine did the same thing so now to a certain extent, and it is very hard to find a dealer who offers it at a good price, so it has become one of the pricier food mag subscriptions.

I have been waiting 5 months for my Delta subscription to kick in. In December they told me it would take 3 more months. I haven't heard anything about getting a refund....

Delta's name has popped up a few times on this thread. Not sure if its is coincidence or not.
ETA -- I checked the Delta site, and I didn't see CL listed. Dgeevanson, probably should call them and see what is up.
I checked Magazine price search and they say that Delta is not one of the providers that handles CL. But there are some providers that are listed for CL.
Just thought I would mention what I found.

That explains why I haven't received my subscription ordered months ago. Unfortunately I don't remember which site I ordered it from!

Goin Coastal --
If you paid by CC, you can probably find out the company on the bill, that's if they charged you already.
I had to do this when I ordered Architectural Digest (great price so I couldn't resist). That should have raised some flags, but no... Anyway, it turned out that the company (magsforlesss I think), wasn't recognized from the AD so it never went thru. Total hassle.
Sometimes if I want to see if a sub went through, I check with the actual mag online and see what the expiration date is.
Good luck tracking it down.

Here is the phone number for Delta. 800-728-3728. Believe it or not a real person answers the phone.
