Anyone else watching the Pats/Jags game. I am hunkered down with a glass of wine and going to TRY to stay up for the whole game.

May the best team win (as long as it's the Patriots ;) )

Well, I'm hunkered down with a glass of wine listening to the boys/men in my family watch the game, does that count? ;) Me, I'm by the fire. :)

Go Pack! What a fun game! Love the snowy games when you can't see the yard lines. :) What a season!!!!!

close enough, right? I'm envious of your fire!

Is PA supposed to get snow? I just read a weather report that we are supposed to get 15 inches or so tomorrow night!

Got my glass of wine and hubby and I are making pizza while watching the Pats/Jag game. We are not pulling for either team since our beloved Steelers were elminated last week. :(

Happy that GB won today though

Tiptoeing in from Patriot's country to say "Go Pack!";) :) Fantastic game! I'm not generally a huge football fan, but this year I'm really pulling for Favre.

(And before my husband's family disowns me, I'm rooting for the Pats tonight too. Would love to see a NE/GB superbowl, though I may have to do my cheering very quietly. )

Same here!

I couldn't believe the snow coming down during that GB game! Knock on wood, it's been awhile since we've had snow like that here!

Watching the game with a glass of wine (I am beginning to see a pattern here), and not really caring who wins the game because I would love for my Chargers to win tomorrow and keep the Patriots out of the Super Bowl next week (I know it's a fantasy, but that's okay).

I see snow in the forecast, but I don't see anything about significant accumulation, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's hard to think of snow - we've been spoiled by warm temperatures lately. I even found 4 ticks on Bailey today! Ticks in January????

Hope you enjoy the 15 inches!

I'm hunkered down knitting a sock with a glass of wine while the menfolk watch the game and talk about what great passes some team is making. It's hard to know which one when I'm trying to turn this heel and drink.:p

Well we just got back from DD#1's soccer match but we have a different sport going on across the road from us - golf. The Sony Open is on this weekend. I did see some pictures posted online of the game and the snow. Sitting by the fire sounds good too.

Well, it's 7:30 Central time and I've lost count of how many glasses of wine I've had (started the first one after the second fumble that occurred, what, within the first minute of the GB game??) But I'll take the win (and wine.)

Honestly, I left the room after that second fumble and spent the rest of the first half in my bedroom watching a nauseating Top 10 list of "where to pig out" on the travel network. :o Took the dog for a walk during halftime -- loved, loved, loved the silence in the snow. As you might imagine, there was nothing happening outside in the greater GB area during the game.

And I hate to spoil your fantasy, but we're hoping for a Jacksonville win tonight that will give us another home game next Sunday!! ;)

My husband said to me that he predicts there will not be much beer left in Green Bay tonight. My family lives there, so it is always fun to call them after a game. It will be fun to see them play again! Go PACK!

There will ALWAYS be beer in Green Bay!! :D

And brats, too. Did you catch that riff on Letterman's Top 10 before the game? You know you're in GB when:

you order coffee and they ask if you want cheese on it? (The 10th reason)

you're asked, "Is that a brat in your pants or are you just happy to see me?" (The first reason)

I honestly don't remember the ones in between, but they were funny.

I taught a friend's 19-month-old to say "Brett" during the game. I couldn't have been more proud unless it had been my own child :).

HA - here too!! Glad to hear I wasn't the only one! It was a shakey start and I'm sure many were "self-medicating" their nerves in those first few minutes. ;)

I'm amazed at how many here drink wine while watching football. I like beer during the early fall games when it's warm, but when it's cold like now, I want to sip a nice red.
