Today's Special Value on QVC is the FoodSaver that I've being reading so much about on the BB threads lately... is $78.24 plus shipping a good price? I'm tempted...

Wow - sounds like a deal, but it depends on the Food Saver Model. Do you know which one it is? I just tuned into QVC and its jewelry, but I will check out their website. Usually the cheapest model is around $99.

I checked the wesite, and although hard to see, I think it is the "300". Tilia sells it for $119.99, so QVC has a great price. However, this is the system that you cannot use with jars, etc. It's just basic. Here is Tilia's link to that model:
