OT: Moving to Austin

We will be moving to Austin, Texas in a few months. If there are any Austinites out there in BB Land, please email me if you would like to help me. I am not very familiar with the area and am looking for suggestions on where to live (north, south, east, west, etc) activities (cooking classes, concerts, festivals, etc), and, I guess, just some general information about the area. Hi DOnna. I am a Houstonian transplant, but just want to say what a fabulous place Autstin is. If I was going to live anywhere else in TX, AUstin would be the place. As soon as you get settled, go to the natural springs to soak your worries away then go th CHuys Hula Hut for a late dinner, have yummy drinks and fish tacos and watch the sunset over the beautiful hills!

Oh I have to second the suggestion for the Hula Hut. A friend of mine lives there and every time I visit him we always go.
