Penzey's Coming to Pittsburgh! And more...

Okay, you guys are the only ones I know who will understand my excitement. I got my new Penzey's catalog on Saturday and noticed that it mentioned they are opening a store in Pgh sometime this year.

Also, in my paper this morning, they announced that the groundbreaking for our Wegmans will be in the next two weeks. It will one of their biggest stores, as 110K square feet and seating for up to 200. I can't WAIT until they open!

Oh well, like I said, I knew the BB fanatics would be able to relate to my excitement!

The Penzey's here in Columbus should be open soon. I felt the same way as you when they sent me a post card regarding the opening. It can't be soon enough!

I didn't know either of these stores were coming to our little 'Burgh. I am so excited! Where are each of the stores going to be located? Did it say??? I feel so left out, when all our fellow BB'ers talk of Penzey's, and Wegmans, and Trader Joes, and Whole Foods....I am so glad to hear that we will joining their ranks- AT LAST!!!

It didn't say where in Pittsburgh it will be opening. I'll have check their web site to see if there's more info about it.

kabs---I probably should have mentioned that I live in Central PA, and that is where we're getting a Wegman's. I'm still excited about the Penzey's store, though because it only takes me 2 hours to get to Pgh, and I still go there to visit friends and relatives, so I wouldn't have to make a special trip.
