Who, what, when, and where need to be answered. How about let's start with who can do when and then we can establish where and what.

My available weekend dates for cooking in August are the 4th, 5th, 18th and 19th? How do those dates look for the rest of you?

So far, I have nothing definitely scheduled for weekends in August, but am reserving the 13th for a potential trip to KC (I have to be there on the 14th and 15th and may go up early).

I do not have Brian's schedule yet, so he may or may not be available depending upon the line he bids. Also, we are attempting to plan a little "getaway" trip to Albuquerque in August, but once again, won't know when that will be till we get his schedule for next month. Gina

Wow! My very first post!

As for weekends in August, these are the days I'm available:
8/11, 8/12, 8/18, 8/25, 8/26. Looks like Dannette and Jacque have opposite social calendars! What gives, ladies?? Anyone open to a Friday evening soiree? Might be difficult since we're so geographically scattered, but I thought it might be worth a shot...

Of the responses thus far, it looks like August 12th is a common date (I can work through my conflict if necessary). I propose that we choose it and move forward with the rest of the planning. I'm afraid if we are trying for a date with no conflicts we'll never get together again. :(

I'm game. Speaking of game, Rams play at Buffalo at 6:30 that evening, so a brunch or an early dinner with game watching (for those who get into that sort of thing!) afterward might be an idea! :D

Sorry for the delay in response, looks like August 12th is shaping up to be the day. I won't be able to make that date (I'll be getting my SCUBA certification) but I'll stay tuned for the next one or if the date changes.

Aug 12 works for me, but I am not available until after 1 pm. Like the idea of the Ram's game, but heard on the news last night (Sunday) that the opening game is a week from today (Monday). (?) Whatever we do I'm sure it will be fun!

Well, it looks like the 12th won't work after all for me. I have to be in KC the next day for work, so I am going to fly out of KC on Thursday for a weekend in Albuquerque with B, then back on the 12th for my meetings the next day. Gina

So, what do you think? Should we go with the 12th or try to find a date in September that works for more of the group? On the one hand, I want to make it to where the most possible can join in so would kind of like to reschedule. On the other, I feel as if we've lost momentum and I'm a little concerned about letting this drag out so long that we never make it work.

Opinions, please!

For those who can make it on August 12th, I would encourage you to go ahead with it, however, if you are looking at rescheduling or would like to schedule the next one after August, how about September 14, 15, 16, 29 or 30th????

What ever you decide about the 12th is fine with me. My available dates for Sept. are pretty much anything after the 7th, except for Sunday the 16th. Right now, I do not have much scheduled for the month that I can see on each of several calendars. Gina

The 15th looks best for me, but the 29th also works. I am thinking about doing a run on the 29th in St. Louis but it is at 8am so it should not interfere if we go with that day. Gina

After some individual checking (including GinaO, so please be assured that we're not acting in deliberate opposition to her desire), it appears that the 29th is the best option fo rthe group as a whole. YOU CAN MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!! Whoooo Hooooo!!!!!

Now, on to bigger and better topics, eh?? -- like who's hosting and what's the menu???
