Today was 15 min elliptical, 20 minutes stairclimber, and upper-body weights. Now on to the eating for the Super Bowl:D What's everyone else doing today?

Happy Belated Birthday, Kathy:)

I did a workout with weights this morning. I've had too many interferences the past couple of Sundays and I could really tell it this morning. It feels good to be back to the old routine though.

And then Super Bowl food on the horizon! :D

I didn't really eat anything for the Super Bowl, but we still have half a chocolate mousse cake in the frig that will probably come out after supper tonight. No excuses today!! So I did 50 min on the TM this afternoon. ;)

Nothing official over the weekend, but I did spend several hours on Saturday helping a friend move, so lots of lifting, stair climbing and stretching going on.

Good job on your workouts, everyone!

Melanie, on the charity ball thing, someone explained to me once that a lot of the "big spenders" at those auctions come to the event knowing that they plan to make a sizable contribution. For instance, they may have gone their intending to donate $5000. So when they bid on things that cost $4000 (like a wine lot), they are just spending the money they planned to donate and having some fun while they are at it. Since most of the items up for bid have been donated to the auction, everyone wins and it is a fun event. That made a lot of sense to me as opposed to thinking people just walk in and start bidding large amounts of money on the stuff. Anyway, it is one perspective.

Back to report early AM yoga, 30 min on the TM, and a few weights. Had to get it done early today or it wasn't going to happen!

Anyone else?

I'm here...I made it to the gym tonight and did 35 minutes on the Wave cardio machine. I also have finally reached a goal - I made it to 21 reps in the Tibetan Rites this morning. Yeah for me! :D Ok...I'm waiting on the miracles to happen. I read on a website that these exercises are supposed to help with spare tire, chin waddle, and various other improvements.

I also did 40 minutes on the treadmill on Monday.

Good job, Melanie! Let me know how it goes with the miracles .:D I'm still at 9 reps.

35 min on the TM for me today, and that's it until Saturday. 12 hour shifts for the next two days. (I am sure I will be running, but not exactly the normal way.)

Anyone else?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You haven't noticed any changes? Changes are happening to you.

If I only did one thing, it would be the Tibetan Rites. My bp is down, my energy is up, and I am noticing my legs and arms firming up. The cellulite is going somewhere else! It's isn't a fast process but changes are happening to me and if it is slow enough, it will last.

In addition to the rites, I'm playing racquetball with my dd tonight and field hockey on Saturday morning. I've gotta try to get a walk in this weekend sometime also.

Finally back to the water aerobics -- Had to take Thursday and Tuesday off for election school and the polls! I really felt the time away, too!

Good going with the various types of exercise...including 12-hour days (which sound absolutely horrid!) I took a yoga class last night and did 40 minutes on the treadmill this morning. My yoga instructor let me borrow a yoga book that has some pretty interesting poses in it. I've only had a chance to glance at them, but I hope to get to it soon.

Who's next?

I've been MIA, but still working out:) Yesterday was 40 minutes on the elliptical and upper-body weights. Today was 20 min on the elliptical and lower-body weights. I think I prefer doing a little strength every day or so, rather than 2 or 3 full-body routines a week.

Yoga for me today, and I am up to 11 on the Tibetan Rites. :)
