Had some nice wiggle room in the budget, so I went to the outlet mall to find jeans. Left jeanless, but with a 3.5-quart Le Creuset risotto pan in electric blue (same as W-S's Sonoma Blue) at 20% off. Oh, and the candle trivet, also 20% off. ;) So, any fun detours on your shopping excursions lately? :)
(The sale is 20% off all red, and 20% off all heart-shaped items (all colors), plus 20% off all electric blue, which is being discontinued. Also 20% off a bunch of miscellaneous items.)
Days like this will explain my posts on the "I need new jeans!!" threads.

(ssshhhhh) 20% off on one of the new red omelet pans at LC outlet last Saturday!!!!! It's so cute, bigger than a typical omelet pan, more like a small shallow skillet coated with the cream enameled stuff.
And I have more Carolina blue LC bakeware coming next weekend from Knoxville SIL's Tuesday Morning shopping, woohoo!
My work folks who cleaned out our local LC outlet's moving sale last fall (50-80% off outlet prices) thank me weekly for introducing them to this magical stuff! So good to spread the love!

I saw those omelet pans; very cute. But I actually do have some self-restraint over there. ;) The saleslady tried to entice me with a crepe pan, but I already have a de Buyer crepe pan--for only $20--from SLT, and it's seasoned & everything; love it. She looked surprised when I told her "no, thanks." :)

Robyn, I just checked out your REI thread. Although you and your cash certainly parted ways :D , you got what you intended to get! I'd be more likely to detour to Le Creuset & never make it to REI. :o :p

i returned a gift (Nigella's Feast) that i already owned, intending to swap it for her newest, Express. But didn't have enough store credit to do that. I really, really want it, and should have held on to the credit till i had the difference saved up, a week or two, you know? But i had been so long without a new cookbook i was jonesing for 'em BIGTIME, so i decided to try and get 2, 2, 2 cookbooks for the price of one! i did, Brother Juniper's Bread Book and Fresh From the Vegetarian SlowCooker; ended up having to add a little cash for that too-- only $1 SHORT OF WHAT I NEEDED FOR EXPRESS!:o
