quick shrimp and corn soup

This recipe for shrimp and corn soup was in the May CL (I think)...has anyone tried it? It was listed at the beginning of the magazine as one of the favourites from that month...

I tried it and thought it was great! It was really easy and fast to throw together, and the cream cheese (I think it was cream cheese - I don't have my magazine with me) added lots of smoothness. I've been meaning to make it again...so many recipes, so little time!! I would definitely recommend it.

My family loved this recipe! I substituted regular canned corn for the creamed corn (NOT my favorite thing) and threw in some frozen shrimp at the very end. (This cut prep even further!) YUM!

Should be fixing dinner instead of playing on this board... JennyLiz

I also made this awhile ago, except I am allergic to shrimp, so substituted crabmeat instead. It was very tasty.
