Lance is in the mountains! Jan Ullrich finished a minute behind! Following is the news story!

The American US Postal rider finished quickest in Wednesday's 32-kilometre time-trial, posting an impressive time of one hour seven minutes and 27 seconds to beat off the challenge of Telekom's Jan Ullrich.

German Ullrich crossed the line exactly one minute behind in second place.

Good to know there are others out there who are as fanatical about this as I am. These guys are amazing. Is anyone else watching the early morning coverage on OLN? I couldn't leave the house today until I knew he had the lead at the first marker.

Lucky you - I don't get OLN and am having trouble finding any televised coverage at all.

Lance Armstrong won stage 13!! I am a Tour de France-aholic! He is over 5 min. ahead of Ullrich at this time; Ullrich took a spill, and then carrying his bike over his shoulder-got right back on track within seconds. Lance kind of waited for him to catch up, and asked him if he was ok :). I am amazed by them (all)everday!! I watch to see whats goin' on before I leave the house too.... :) Zinnia

I am so glad someone else out there is onto OLN. I am in awe of these guys - Armstrong in particular (what am I on? I'm on my bike 6 hours a day!!)

I was in San Francisco last week and as I was walking up to the top of Nob Hill (yeah the place where the cable cars crest the hill) all I could think was that these guys could climb that hill like it was nothing.

An interview with Armstrong's coach said that the goal is to have his heart rate at 140-145 bpm - even up hill. Considering my usual resting rate is somewhere between 155 and 160 - that's incredible.

I've been watching the late night airings but just realized it is apparently on first thing in the morning.
