I made the strawberry spinach salad (from MasterCook) 3 times in the last couple of weeks. We were entertaining 3 different groups of people. I had goat cheese and spinach left over on each ocassion, so the recipe made repeat appearances!

One group included a couple of picky 16-year-old males. They loved it! Another man which I thought would never eat the salad (we had plenty of meat on the grill) went back for seconds and said he could eat the salad all the time!

I skipped the bread and just crumbled the goat cheese on top of the salad, and it was very attractive. I read somewhere to add the dressing right before serving or else the spinach will wilt.

I skipped the bread and crumbled the cheese on top also. My MIL was raving about it....if that tells you anything.
