I'm so excited! The place where I work held a baking contest on Monday and I took second place with a Cooking Light dessert, Blueberry Pound Cake. My prize is a 3 tiered cooling/baking rack.

Question: Has anyone won a cooking/baking contest with a Cooking Light recipe?

That pound cake was such a good recipe! But what won first prize?

I've never entered a cooking/baking contest, but it would be interesting. I would have to use a tried and true CL recipe, though. I'm not much on creating my own.

Angela-that IS exciting. Did they know it was healthful or did you surprise them with that added bonus?

First prize was a Cappacino Cheesecake, I did get to sample of a piece of it and it WAS very good! The healthy aspect was an added bonus.
