Hey, guys!! I've been MIA, but I've been reading up on you all :)
Michelle, I'm new to the group, but wanted to pass on my sympathies about your mom's illness. Sounds like she has a wonderful attitude, and it's encouraging that her doctor is optimistic! Good for you, taking care of yourself. :)
Valerie, hope the elbow is feeling better.
Stacy, I love Low Impact Circuit!! I think it's a lot of fun too. I have, but have never done, Butts & Guts -- I keep reading on cathe.com how tremendous that one is too.
Charisse, whew -- lots of time in Harrisburg for you! I've got a walk scheduled for Valley Forge this coming Saturday (though I don't know if I can go due to stepkids' schedules). VFP in the spring -- so pretty!
Yesterday, my girlfriend and I went for a 6 mile walk in our seriously hilly section of Philadelphia. What a great workout, and a nice change of pace :)
Did anyone see the new pics Cathe posted on the blog? I'm getting really excited about STS!! I'm wondering if there will be a Road Trip this year. I went in '05, and tried to go last year, but didn't register until 12:10 and it was sold out already

Hi all, checking in here. Elbow is decent already.
I took both weekend days off and did yard work. it was cold and showery so not a good time to drive to where it would be even colder and rain-ier. (more rainy) But I still did work hard. today I did 45 on the treadmill and 20 on the elliptical and coremax #2. I am proud to say I did ALL the pikes for the first time. not sure how perfectly I'm doing them but I feel they're decent. perhaps not as good as cathe but, who is?? I feel like I'm getting close to vertical but need DH to watch & tell me the hard truth.
I spent some time looking at the new STS pics on the blog. Lots of new people. the "old" people look like they are in even better !!shape than before. I hope I don't regret not buying into this. I am curious about the paper plate accessory.
Stacy, I have Butts & Guts but I've never done it. I've done parts of it but never from start to finish. I will do it soon because I am upping my weights on Muscle Max and Power Hour and did not get sore.. Progress. charisse & Joanne have heard me say this before but I think I'm ready now.

Hey guys - finally checking in!!!
Sunday I did upper body from Super Body Sculpt (firm), Yesterday I did Burn and Shape (firm) and today I did Ultimate Fat Burning Cardio (firm).... I LOVE feeling toned. My stomach/core has NEVER been this way ever!!!
Valerie - I did some of the levitation holds in Coremax #1 on Sunday and was cheering (even though sometimes I was leaning backwards!! ) Good job on your pikes!~:) Glad to hear your elbow is feeling better!!
Allison - VF in the spring!! I went down to KofP mall on Saturday (it's only an hour and a half away!) and got some good deals at Macy's and Eddie Bauer. I sooo miss that mall!!:o I'll have to check out Cathy's website to see the new pics!
Hope everyone else is having a great week! Any Easter plans?

I'm still around!! Just super busy. DH and I took long walks on Sat & Sun, then I took Monday off. Yesterday was Drillmax and today was KPC -- my first time. Wow - KPC is though. Valerie -- I think I remember your DH commenting that he doesn't think it works you hard enough. I can't imagine!!
We've had floor work done in our house -- seven days worth! It's so hard having your house out of kilter and folks in it all day. It's finally done but now we need to clean and seal it. I'm exhausted. Thank goodness we're on spring break this week. I don't know when we'd ever get it done otherwise.
Charisse -- Lots of rain here yesterday. A new single day record -- 2.35 inches. And it rained all night after that so I can only imagine what the overall total was.
Allison -- I just ordered Butts & Guts, too! I guess we're a bunch of virgins around here. I think it's on my schedule for Saturday; I'll let you know how it goes. From everything I've read, I'm prepared to be sore!
I'll "see" you guys later!

Levitation holds! charisse, I'm in awe! I have no prayer of ever doing those. I thought I couldn't do pikes either but those turned out to be more do-able for me.
I forget what day I did KPC last week but stacy, you're right DH does say that one does not work me hard enough and I have to admit I agree. I think of it as maintenance, and nothing wrong with that. I like it alot , it's a good workout for me, but it's not as difficult as other things. I feel the same about Drillmax. Great workout, love doing it and great variety compared to pounding away on the treadmill or ellpitical. I am not trying to pat myself on the back here, but while I lack great athletic skill and have no speed, DH and I do a lot of "long endurance" activities. 6-7 hours of skiing or snowshoeing or hiking is more about endurance than athletic skills or strength. I can't do squats with 40 lbs but I can carry a 50 lb pack uphill for many miles... It's a different measure of fitness, doing something no where near as intense but doing it for a long time. Butts and Guts makes me cringe in horror. I will say the hardest cathe workout for me (so far) is Bootcamp. I haven't done that one for a while, somewhat because those 1 minute cardio segments kill me. I can hear her now.... "You can do anything for a minute....."
