I'm planning to grill this recipe from June 2000 for supper tonight, except that I've chosen to use chicken thighs instead of the whole bird. How long should I grill these? I'm never certain with the chicken dark meat. I was thinking 30 minutes. Any advice?

Beth, I made the Rosemary Buttermilk recipe with split chicken breast and grilled them for about an hour. They were very good and moist. If you are going to use the indirect grill method, I would definately cook them for at least an hour.

As a note. I made this recipe with the whole chicken and followed everything in the recipe. It turned out great and went wonderfully with the tomato, basil, mozzarella couscous.

Well, I used direct grilling and did the chicken thighs for about 1/2 hour -- I thought it was a great recipe.
