Informal Supper Club

Just wondering if there is anyone in the high desert that cooks at home :confused:. If so, just let the world here know ;). We would like to try once more to form a club in the high desert. We were part of a club in Riverside, but our friends up and moved to Texas . The club was great. About 7 couples would get together and have some wine, drinks and dinner or BBQ. Not always cooking light but sometimes cooking heavy. Let us know :).

I'm sorry that I live just abit too far to connect with you guys (Covina). I tried for what felt like an eternity to get a club going with others from this board. NO responses! I almost gave up altogether. I ended up gathering some very longtime friends together, all of us were married about 20 years ago, and have moved away from each other. We now get together once every 6-8 weeks. It has been amazing to reconnect and learn about each other again. The food part of the club, to them, was secondary. The other gals were not too big on the concept at first, but they are really enjoying the whole thing now and getting into planning thier menus. Perhaps you could try to initiate some coworkers or even neighbors. I hope you are able to find some takers soon. Hang in there,
