Can anyone help me....I've seen several mentions of the Fettucine with Fingerlicking Peanut Sauce in a couple of threads but no recipe.
Could anyone post this for me? My DH would be greatful!:D

Here is the recipe, but it is my edited version (with chicken instead of the original tofu). The sauce part is unchanged.

Fettuccine and Chicken With Finger-Licking Peanut Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup fat-free chicken broth
1/4 cup chunky peanut butter
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons fresh ginger -- grated and peeled
2 teaspoons chile paste with garlic
4 garlic cloves -- minced
8 ounces fettucine -- uncooked
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast -- cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup green onions -- sliced (2 inch)
1 cup shredded carrot
1. Combine first 8 ingredients (broth through garlic) in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until smooth, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
2. Cook pasta in boiling water 8 minutes, omitting salt and fat. While pasta cooks, saute chicken in a small pan. Add onions and carrot to pasta; drain. Add chicken. Place pasta mixture in a large bowl. Add peanut butter mixture; toss gently. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 2 cups).

Ooohh, you will LOVE this recipe! CL named it right when they called it 'Finger-Lickin'. Making me hungry just reading the words! Let us know how you like it! :D

I made the peanutty noodles, and aside from the chicken, I really so no difference between these two recipes.
Is there a difference in taste?

I so agree Julia, there is basically NO difference - with the exception of the 'quantity' amounts, and adding chicken which I think someone posted a while ago that they did that as well.
Just made those peanutty noodles for the first time Friday, they are delicious!

Thanks, I knew I wasn't going crazy (yet).
Has anyone who has tried bot this and the peanutty noodles noticed if this one is sweeter? I notice it has brown sugar and chili paste and the other has the chili garlic sauce, so it seemed that this one might have a sweet-hot taste.
