I saw a loaf of bread that looked delicious and would like to try to bake rather than buy. The ingredients listed were:

Sourdough Starter (I have Beth's)
AP Flour
Wheat Flour
Walnuts
Raisins
Molasses
Sea Salt
Cinnamon

Can anyone help with a recipe...I have my starter warming up today, I will feed tonight and will be ready to bake in the morning...

TIA :D

I didn't come up with a recipe so I went with a sourdough wheat bread from a King Arthur Baking Book, the ingredients were:
sourdough
WW Flour
AP FLour
2 T honey
Salt

Then I added 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 cup raisins, 1/3 cup toasted chopped walnuts.

It was a long process but the loaves looked very nice. The bread was crusty on the outside and moist inside. It wasn't too bad but the recipe still needs some improvement. Next time I plan to up the honey by 1 T. I think it could be just a little bit sweeter, and change the amount of cinnamon to 2-3 tsp as the cinnamon flavor was barely noticable. Who knows it might be exactly right next time...!!

It was a fun experience and it tastes good right now for toast with PB...:D
