Hi all!!
We're back from our vacation in Florida! I'm starting this thread b/c I need to seriously get back in the groove!!!
The first part of the week I didn't do too bad - good eating (lots of grouper!!!) and we did a lot of walking. Last part of the week- more pub style food - more wine :D and not so much exercising!
So we're back - house is picked up, laundry is done, cc cookies are baked and the week is planned. Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri workouts - cutting back big time on the wine and eating healthy!!!! Lots of water at work - lots of going up and down steps at school :D
Here's to a new week - Valerie I hope you enjoy your vacation in Yellowstone!!! Everyone else - see you soon!!!:)

Yesterday I did Time Crunch (FIRM) but only got 2/3 through and my DVD froze!! I tried several times to get by but kept getting stuck in the same spot. Gave up and did the ab section of another workout.
Today I did Burn and Shape (successfullyl!!) It's been hard to get back into it. Not working out for over a week is yucky!!!
Tomorrow needs to be some plain ole cardio!
How are you all doing this week?!

Hi, Charisse!! Welcome back! It's so hard to get back on schedule after time away but sure sounds like you had a good time. And I'm amazed at what you've done at since you've been back. It always takes me at least a week to get the laundry done!!! Congrats getting back in to your workouts.
I did Push Pull and Legs & Glutes on Saturday & took kids to a Renaissance Festival on Sunday. Took a day of Monday and an unintentional day off today -- DS was at the urgent clinic with double ear infections last night. He's fine but I couldn't get up this morning. So....here's hoping for a good workout tomorrow!

Hi all! I've been working out, just MIA!
Charisse, glad you enjoyed your vacation! It's good to take a break from working out every once in awhile. Sounds like you're already back in the swing of things! That's the most annoying thing - when your DVD freezes!!
Stacy, you actually did Push/Pull and Legs and Glutes together?? Does Push/Pull have alot of leg work?
Sunday I took the dog for the first run of the spring/summer. She loved it, but was wiped out for the rest of the day. That's OK - a tired dog is a happy dog. We went about three miles. Yesterday I did Cathe's Pyramid Upper Body and 4DS kickboxing. Today was Pyramid Lower Body. Has anyone done that one? OMG, the floorwork is killer. Lots of stuff with the ball. I'm fighting off a cold, so I may rest tomorrow or do something light - we'll see how I feel.

Hey Joanne!! I was hoping someone else would post today:D Are you still doing the monthly rotation? Is your schedule as crazy as ours?? soccer/baseball.... I'm trying to figure out how to be at both a soccer game and a baseball game at the same time in different towns!!! This is our first year of this! Ack!
Hi Stacy - I didn't see your post first time around!!! Ugh - double ear infection poor thing! Hope he feels better (and you get some rest!)
I did Fat Blasting Cardio with Lisa Kay today. I'm trudging through. I figure even if I go through the motions I'm doing something!! Luckily the scale has been kind and I only gained 2 lbs from vacation eating/drinking.
Have a great Tuesday!

Hey Charisse! Yep, we're crazy. Two kids on two different soccer teams and one on track. Tonight they both play soccer at the same time and Jameson's game is about 1/2 hour away. Luckily our neighbors have a kid on each team so we'll take one of theirs and they take one of ours! I love watching them play soccer, though. Jameson is doing track - poor kid had to wait about two hours at the last meet in the cold and wind and only had to run the 800 yard race at the very end. He loves it, though. All this is over the first week of May, though and nothing for the summer except Sports Camp. We can "relax" a bit! The boys all tried baseball a couple years and didn't want to play anymore.
2lbs. is worth some good eating and fun! I'm sure it'll be gone in no time.
I was pretty pleased this weekend. I went through all our clothes for summer and my clothes still fit me! Maybe there is something to the muscle weighing more than fat thing. I'm up a few pounds from last year, but my old pants and shorts still fit. And, I filled 8 bags with old clothes to give to Goodwill. I love decluttering!

Charisse, I can't believe how much you got done the day you got back from vacation. Laundry -- I get. But baking cookies?!?! You're nuts :p
Sunday I did a 9 mile walk through some hilly neighborhoods in Philly (Chestnut Hill). It was a beautiful day for a walk -- 77 and sunny with a nice breeze.
Today I did Legs & Glutes. Man, I forgot what an awesome workout this is!! I noticed for the first time I've been doing the hamstring "lifts" (floor work, with your heel on the high step, pushing up with one leg extended) incorrectly -- I've always cheated by letting my hips come down to the floor between reps. Did it the right way today -- ouch!!
Joanne, what a great feeling!! I dread pulling out the shorts every year. :o I tried mine on today -- all fit, including 2 pairs from last year that were too obscene to wear in public LOL Goodwill will be happy to see you -- 8 bags! Now that's some serious spring cleaning :)
Has anyone tried Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD? My girlfriend just got it (she works out regularly), and she said it left her winded. Looking for some more opinions!

Hey guys!!!
I did Coremax #1 yesterday and then push mowed for the first time this season. Not as much to mow b/c of our pool now ;)
Today I have concession stand duty so i won't be able to workout.
Joanne - wow! 3 at a time - I can only imagine!!! Good for you and your clothes fitting.
Allison - I know - I have a problem buying CCC when I know I can bake them instead:rolleyes: Sam goes through them like crazy -so I always do a double batch and freeze them. I'm good for maybe another week:cool:
Thank goodness it's Thursday! Sat looks crazy with games but Sunday is the day in the yard!! Woo hoo. We got a shed today and DH can't wait to move things out of the garage and into the new place - an excuse to putter:)

The cold/sore throat that's been going around my office finally caught up with me this week. No workouts Wednesday or Thursday. Today I did StepBoxing. The more I do it, the more fun it is since I'm really catching on to the moves now.
Stacy, I like Legs and Glutes too. With all of Cathe's great lower body workouts, I think that one gets forgotten sometimes. I actually ordered 30 day shred - I'll let you know how it is.
Charisse, enjoy your puttering this weekend! We have a soccer tournament tomorrow, starting at 2:00 and we play at least three games. I'm hoping it doesn't rain cause it'll be a really long day if it does.
Have a great weekend all!
