Any interrest in a women's supper club in the area of West Hill Auburn, SW Federal Way, Fife, Puyallup, and/or North Tacoma?

I've been a member of a supper club in Seattle for a couple of years now. We meet once a month. It is kind of a drag to always have to drive up to Seattle. I'd love to find one closer to home. Did you have any success in starting/finding one in Tacoma?

Hi Alana ~ Yes, there is one in Tacoma/Federal Way area and we have been together for about 5 years. None of us knew one another, we met through the CLBB. Our original four went to the Spar and set the first dinner, we are now eight strong. We are often short 1 or 2 and in Sept. will be short 3 and another member would be totally welcome. I happen to be hostess in October and would welcome you to check us out, worse case scenario . . . ?????????? who knows! We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month, rotate hostess, hopefully cook from CL but rule is to try a dish you haven't made before. We've had theme, ingredient, and main dish dinners, as well as picnics. The hostess determines what is happening and usually assigns the appetizers, sides, desserts, etc. AND, we always remember that it's the recipe and not the cook :) We have a lot of flexibility and a great group of diversified women. Please join us October 10th in Tacoma. I promise you may bring any dish you'd like as long it has vanilla as an ingredient . . . I'll keep you posted. I work in Seattle M-F and don't usually get home until 6:30 at the earliest. This might be a problem if the meetings start before 6:30, but I am off every other Wednesday. If the meetings fall the Wednesday's I am off then I think this might work out well for me.

First, let me say I was looking at September's calendar :rolleyes: . . . it's October 8th, the 2nd Wednesday. We usually start at 6:30 w/appetizers and one or two of us often arrive a bit late, so that's not a problem. Half the group lives in Tacoma and the other half in Federal Way.
