Question about Vidalia Onion and Feta Risotto

I went to the store during lunch today to get my ingredients, and vegetable broth was nowhere to be found. I am going to a different store on the way home, but if they don't have it, could I substitute chicken broth?? It is my first time to make this much-raved-about risotto! We are having it with grilled chicken and asparagus...can't wait!

I would substitute with the chicken broth. I have not made the recipe, but don't see why it would make a difference to someone who isn't a vegetarian.

I've made it with both vegetable broth and chicken broth (in fact made in with chicken broth last night - had all the other ingredients on hand so decided to try it) and it was great either way - I couldn't tell a difference.
