Second only to oxygen, water is a necessity to life. You can survive weeks without food but only days without water. If it's hot out, you're exercising, trying to lose weight or think you may have the munchies, drink a glass of water.

Matter of fact, if it's a day that ends in 'y' (in english) have a glass or three of water.:D
