HELP! This is a signature recipe of mine & here is my dilema...
I have only made this as a tube cake & I need to make it into loaves for giving to a couple of different people. IF I knew them BETTER I would just cut the puppy in half :D & present that! But I am trying to make a good impression here (DHs boss)! Has any one here converted this to loaf pan size?? If so... which size loaf pan (I have them all), how many pans worth, how long time wise? I need to make this first thing in the morning 'cause I need it in the PM. The last time I made this I made 3 at one time...everyone LOVES is so!!
P.S. This is the one w/ the lemon yogurt! (is there any other??

:p !!!!!

Hi Rosen, On my "Joy of Cooking" CD, I found these figures. I somehow can't cut and paste them, so here are some ideas:
Bundt 10X3 3/4 = 12 - 12 Cups
8X 4 = 8 - 10 Cups

Loaf pan 7 1/2X3 3/4X 2 1/4 = 4 Cups
9X5X3 = 8 Cups

Just take your cup measure and use water.

Let me know if this works for you!

Hmmmmm. Almost sounds like one 8 & one 9 each! I believe I will try two 8s (for height), & perhaps start w/ 3/4 of the regular baking time....& another batch in the tube pan which can be sliced individually & presented on a lovely platter!! Will provide details as to what works (& does NOT) at a later date. Thank you Beth & CurlyTop!

I did it! When I made this pound cake I made it into loaves because it had to be transported to a BBQ. I made the recipe as written, and it filled two standard loaf pans perfectly. I'm not sure what size you would call standard, but I had two of the same size and they worked fine!

Needless to say the loaves went fast! :D
