Dh and I had friends over for dinner last night, and I made 2 recipes from the August issue:
Polenta with Red Peppers and Fontina Cheese was as good as everyone on this bb said it was. 4 ingredients, it was simple, easy, and delicious. I loved the fontina cheese (I mistakenly thought it was like parmesan or asiago until i bought it at the store :o This is a good weeknight meal. CL - please have more recipes with fewer ingredients like this one! :)
For dessert, we had the Peach Upside Down Cake. This was excellent. We did serve it with the caramel sauce and the frozen yogurt, and that really gave it an extra added deliciousness. ;) I wasn't sure how crazy I'd be about it, but it is really good. I highly recommend this one. The cake is light and lemony and the glaze isn't overly sweet. Definitely a winner!
