supper club in the Madison, WI area?

Hello out there:)
Summer is upon us, but as things slow down, is there anyone in the Madison,Wisonsin area that would like to get together for a supper club?
I'm new to this, but would love to try some new menus and meet some great people who love to eat too!

I am a member of a CL club that has been meeting for about 7 years. We are all women ranging in age from 30ish to 60ish. We don't cook together but bring recipes from Cl to our monthly meetings. There used to be a couple of other groups around. I don't know if they are still meeting. We are mostly on the west side of Madison, but also Lodi, Oregon and Fall River are represented. Our group is about 12 strong. If you would like to check us out, I could ask the next hostess if that would work for her. You can always PM me.

Hi Sharon, thanks for responding to my request. I would love to come and join you one night, or aftenoon. The month of August is pretty busy with family stuff and vacation, but when you meet again in September, I would be interested, and can bring whatever....
how do you decide on the menu? and how do you decide who brings what?
this sounds like great fun!
I'm on the southwest side of Madison, so distance is great too!

Melanie, great to hear from you. Our monthly menues are done by concensus. We do have some standards, cookies at Christmas, Thanksgiving sides in Nov. Oscar night(whatever month that is) but otherwise we just are creative. The volunteer hostess sends out an evite and people respond with what dish they will bring. I will let you know when our Sept meeting is if you would PM me.
