My husband and I loved this recipe; it was very flavorful, using simple and easy-to-find ingredients. Also, it was fun to make my first from-scratch pizza dough. I am sure that I used more flour than the recipe called for, however, because, while kneading, it kept sticking to my hands.

I also liked this pizza but I had difficulties with the crust. It was so sticky that I kept adding more flour. I think I ended up with too much flour. I have half the dough in the freezer and hope to have better luck with it the second time.

You know, I have had a pet peeve with every dough recipe I have made from CL - they only tell you something like '3 cups flour', and don't mention adjusting the flour for your environment, or give you any hint on what the consistency of the final dough should be (slightly sticky, dry, very sticky), so I'm never sure how much to adjust the flour. Because of this, I haven't made many CL doughs. A memorable bad experience was the Angel Biscuits from a few years back. I used exactly what the recipe called for, and had the stickiest mess! The few biscuits I actually had the patience to make actually tasted really good, but I was so annoyed I threw most of the dough out.
