Posting Recipes, question for mastercook people....

I often see recipes that have been "copied" into files and exported. How does this work? How do you get the recipes? Do you buy them or subscribe to somewhere to download them? Are they the cook pacs? Sorry to be so dumb but I would like to be able to do this and am not sure how to go about it. I do have Mastercook software. Thanks for your help!

I'm sure glad I'm not the only one confused by this MasterCook stuff! I finally got importing recipes off the board down, now I'll have to try exporting! My question tonight is: if I were to download a Cookpac, how do the recipes get into Mastercook? Do you have to import each recipe individually? Sorry to be so computer incompetent!

I think I sort of answered my own question. I searched through the old thread on MC and read some of them. One problem I have is that my version of MC is so old that it doesn't have the import assistant. I think it is time to upgrade! Mine is like version 3.4 or something. :eek:
