Cover recipe for the new issue-and mine looked just like it:cool: I made the batter (except for the melted butter) the night before, along with putting the dry ingredients together. Sunday morning I added the wet to the dry and added the melted butter and did the "apple part". so it was ready rather quickly. It was beautiful when it came out of the oven, but it "deflated" quickly. My only complaint was portion size. I could easily have eaten 2 portions, but then maybe I was extra hungry that morning.
