I bought some dried mushrooms (poricini, boletes, shitake, morel, oyster, and lobster) sometime ago and no longer have any idea what I needed them for. Does anyone have a great recipe requiring dried mushrooms that they'd like to share? I'd hate to see them go to waste. Incidentally, I happen to have some half-and-half on hand (which is quite unusual!). I'm sure a more experienced cook could whip up a fabulous soup or sauce inspired by these two ingredients, but I still have to rely on a recipe for guidance.

I'm not quite creative enough to come up with something that would kill two birds with one stone, but the rehydrated mushrooms would go great in a risotto (with some greens, like spinach or kale, and smoked gouda or parmesan or asiago) or a simple stir-fry with veggies (different colored bell peppers, broccoli, carrot, zucchini and/or squash, etc.). I'm stumped as to the half-and-half -- I rarely use that for anything.
