Right now it's a tropical storm but predicted to become a hurricane. He's just past Haiti and moving west of Cuba. Landfall is predicted for Monday though right now the predicted path is fairly wide:

Late last night, that path showed Gustov possibly heading right at Houston. They said the high pressure system over Florida may push the storm more east or west depending on which way it drifts. We'll have to watch and see what happens as it comes into the Gulf. Back to the congrats and sending Chas, Terri, Susan (bo peep) and everyone else who needs them our best job angels........

we're actually heading to houston tomorrow bright and ugly. I think the conflow starts tomorrow which should make traffic a little easier and we still have too much last minute stuff to do this afternoon. We're just taping windows with some cardboard and hoping for the best :( It's still too early to tell what's going to happen but at least in Houston there is more liklihood of the water having somewhere to go. Our hood is on highest ground around here and there was no damage during katrina (or very minor from the wind)...still most of my neighbors are getting out.
