Hi ya Beth! Actually, closing is set for 9/11, possession 9/15 (or as late as 9/22...I'm being "flexible").

But...after eleven years in this apartment and raising my son here...there is a lot of "weeding out" and packing to do. So you guessed it, I'm busy packing!!

Have fun with your party, I'd gladly trade you weekends...

Thanks everybody...still have some time (about six weeks or so). But the computer actually really does belong to my son, we bought it for him as a gift, 16th birthday. So it's time for me to give it up and do my own thing!

Since you can probably pay less now for a computer that's twice as fast as one you would have bought a couple/few years ago, don't get whiplash!

I remembered a 9 and a middle of the month in your move date and must have assumed it was the 19th of this month. Oh well, at least mine should be over soon. Best of luck with the move.

Think she's packed up the computer yet? Probably at least busy packing everything else. Doesn't she move next weekend? I'll be doing another birthday party. I might trade.

In preparation for my upcoming move, I've disconnected the home computer, planning to deliver it to my son (who is currently 18 1/2 and living with his father). My plan is to buy a new home computer after I get settled.

But...I'm still around, lurking at work when time allows. This board has grown so fast, I can hardly keep up with all the posts!
