black & white cake

HI. I forgot we were invited for a BBQ dinner tonight so I was reading Aug CL & made the black and white cake. I just cut it and put the pieces in a plate with a doily.
It smells great. I had to cook it 5 mins longer and I used the powdered egg whites. It was the first recipe I made of Aug issue! :)

Hi Sue!
I used Just Whites and used 8 tespoons mixed with 1/2 cup water (intructions in back of can for amounts). I did use a whisk to make sure all powder was integrated with the water.
Results? Great looking and they liked it :-)
