Does anyone have a good recipe for fresh jalapeno jelly? I just harvested a bunch from my garden and couldn't find a jelly recipe. As usual, I appreciate all of your help! Thanks!

Here's an "heirloom recipe" from the heart of Texas; it's delicious!!
1 1/2 cups minced green pepper
1/2 cup minced hot green pepper
7 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups white vinegar (5% acidity)
2 (3 ounce) packages liquid pectin
Combine first 4 ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Boil 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in pectin; boil 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and skim off foam with a metal spoon.
Quickly pour hot jelly into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/4" headspace; wipe jar rims. Cover at once with metal lids, and screw on bands. Process in boiling-water bath 5 minutes. Makes 7 half pints.
Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Heidi,
A belated thank you for your recipe. When I posted it I was making berry jam with my friend, thus the idea sprung up for making the jelly with the jalapenos. We were amazed at your speedy response!! It was posted before our jam was finished!
Many thanks for sharing! We are going to give it a try next...
