Hi,

Sure I've got a recipe for you.

Crockpot Pork Chops, or, Oven Pork Chops

Ingredients

1 can french cut green beans

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

2 or 3 celery ribs cut across, kind of thin slices.

1 eight ounce package of fresh musrooms sliced up, or one can of mushrooms if desired.

Salt & pepper to taste

3 or 4 nice center cut boneless Pork Chops, (Loin Chops.)

Preparation

Place all ingredients except pork chops in crockpot. Stir. Place pork chops in pot and spoon sauce over. Cook 7-9 hours on Low.

Meat juices and soup mixture make a sauce which is great served over potatoes or rice!

If you wish, you may prepare this dish in the oven instead, using a 13 x 9 casserole dish and baking at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours.

We like to make it in the oven instead of the Crockpot, This dish turns out fine, it has the pork come out very tender, and it is a real pleasure to eat.

We, at least Sharon does, like to use a low sodium healthy type soup instead of the regular canned soup, I don't know what it's called, that's Sharons department.

I'm sure you'll like this recipe.

We make this and let it go in the crock over night- it's interesting to wake up in the middle of the night to smell it cooking!

3 lb. pork roast (really can be any cut, I buy what's cheapest), trimmed well of most fat
1 bottle of BBQ sauce
1 large onion, sliced vertically
4 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced

Throw it all into the crock and cook for 8 hours- the meat will come apart with a fork and mix in with the other ingredients. Serve on rolls.
