I live at about 4,500 feet, and I find that sometimes my recipes have to be adjusted for the altitude. Cookies generally come out fine , but cakes and muffins are a nightmare. They either collapse in the center, or just don't come out at all. I'd like to try some of the cakes/muffins here, esp. the morning glory muffins and blueberry pound cake, but I'm afraid they just won't come out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

BTW, I just found this board, and I'm so glad. I am a long-time subscriber to Cooking Light, and LOVE the recipes.

Thanks,

Caroline
