Well, after all the talk, I finally found Pirates Booty and Veggie Booty at my Whole Foods (Wellspring). It has likely been there all along, I was just not looking hard enough. Well, count me in as a convert!
But the most amazing thing, as a Mom, is that my 3 year old loves Veggie Booty. And considering how many vitamins, etc. are in it, I give it to her often as a snack. So, if your kid hates green veggies, here is your opportunity!

My kids (2 and 4) love it too! And fruity booty. :D

You are clearly referring to an earlier discussion--but I'm new in this neck of the woods. What in the heck are you guys talking about? It almost sounds obscene! I'm guessing this isn't the same kind of "booty" they talk about on MTV. . .
Seriously, I am interested. I've got a veggie eschewing toddler at home, so I'm willing to try anything that works for someone else!

There is this snack food that you can find in most Whole Foods, as well as many other national chain stores, in the snack food aisle. It comes in one of those cellophane bags. The easiest to find is Pirate's Booty, which is puffed cheese and rice coated with white cheese dust. Think consistency of cheese doodles, but tasting like cheese popcorn. Well, Pirates Booty is great, and not not that bad for you, just not that good for you either. But the people that make Pirate's Booty, also make something called Veggie Booty. It is the same puffed rice/corn stuff, but coated with a concentrated spinach/kale/green tea dust. It is just loaded with vitamins and phyto..whatever those things are. My kid loves them and asks for them as a snack. My kid is not a picky eater, but I have a friend who's kid is very much so and her kids was chomping on them the other night.
They also make Fruity Booty, which just sounds to wierd for me, but also is recommended.
Check it out!

Roberts American Gourmet is the company that makes Booty. They also make potato flyer, power puffs, and another type that I can't quite remeber. They have a website that you can order from, but you have to buy an entire CASE:eek: . I should mention that you SHOULD NOT give your kids any of the snacks they make with herbs like ginseng or kava kava. the pirates booty, veggie booty, and friuty booty as well as potato flyers are all great for kids.
Svadhistana---just out of curiousity, do you know which snacks are made with the ginseng or kava kava? All we really have around so far is the Pirate's Booty. In case our stores start carrying more of a Robert's variety, I'd to know ahead of time which to avoid.
Since these herbs are used a lot by adults, what kind of reactions could a child have if eating something with them in it?
