DH and I have recently moved to a new area of the country. He has a new job, and currently has a 50 minute commute. I have been looking for a new job for a month, and just got an offer this morning!

Just wanted to let someone know, it seems like I can't get ahold of anyone.

What and where is your job? How are you liking Denver? I remember that moving was a big step for you- giving up jobs and a home (in the Midwest, I think?)

My job is with the Geological Society of America in Boulder, CO. My husband's job is in Boulder also, so we will be able to commute together. I will be (in) the Human Resources department. It is a 1-person department. The best part is that I will work 32 hours/week and have my Friday's off, which is what I am used to.

We moved to Colorado from Iowa, and I have been out here for a little over 3 weeks. DH has been at his job for 2 months, so he was out here for a month before me.

Thanks for all of the well-wishes!

I went shopping to celebrate and bought a mixer cover for my Kitchen Aid and 2 lids that seal over the bowl. I think I will get a yoga mat also, later tonight after DH gets home.
