I logged on to find a cheesecake recipe to bake for my cake, and am totally amazed at the number of threads since I last logged on. Wow!

(I had an 8 hour roundtrip in the car today, so it's been a while since I browsed the boards.)

Well, I'm off to the store for cream cheese.
(If you bake your own cake for your birthday you get to decide what kind it's gonna be, LOL!)

You guys are the sweetest...thanks so much for your birthday wishes! I haven't been on in a few days, so I hope I didn't appear ungrateful. Thanks, and I had a fabulous birthday. A friend of mine made a marvelous dinner (grilled halibut, orzo salad with fresh vegetables, fruit, and a killer, killer ice-cream dessert, with vanilla ice-cream, heath bars and butterfinger bars crushed into a pie. Outstanding! Plus, I got an Ironman triathalon watch so I can start checking my times in running, and hopefully get faster. All in all, it was a great day!
