I don't want to turn this into the "weekly medical report" but.. Friday I had an echo and ekg. the echo was fascinating. you can see a lot of stuff on the screen over the course of the 45 minute procedure. Not uncomfortable at all. no results yet.
I did bike, treadmill, elliptical for a total 1 hr on saturday and segment #1 of Coremax. Sunday we hiked, a fairly easy one since my confidence is not exactly back yet. I wore my heart rate monitor. I'd guessed 110-120 from how it feels. this was not a hard hike although cold and snowy, but my highest rate was 126. mostly right in the range I expected.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Ok I really need to go back to last weeks thread to find out what's going on Valerie!!! Hope you are ok -
I was basically mia last week.. have no clue what happened?!! Relay for Life meeting one eve, soccer, field trips.... and this weekend was CRAZY with sports! Jack's soccer team won on Saturday to get into first place in his division -such an exciting game.... PSU won!!!! Phillies won!!!:):):) Except for our Steelers it was a great weekend.
I did Cardio Overdrive yesterday - I needed to work off our party food from Sat eve!!! Today I did Coremax #1 and some push ups. I'm going to try to get something in tomorrow - they're calling for WIND and rain and cold weather - brrrr.
Hope everyone is healthy!!!!!:)

Charisse, can we maintain this thread? where's everyone? Yeah, some weeks are like that and time gets away from you. yes, burn off that weekend food before it takes up permanent residence!
I promise no more boring medical reports except my "stuff" has checked out fine. we have a likely diagnosis, which is what DH and I have suspected. it's not really anything "wrong" with me. I have low BP and low heart rate, largely because I am so physically active ( insert big pat on back here). If I was an inactive slug this likely would not be an issue. some people are subject to vasovagal syndrome which means I need to be sure I keep fluid intake/ salt intake up. when I get low on fluid this "syndrome" can click in and I can, more easily than many, suffer a fainting spell.
went on a serious hike yesterday, 8 miles or so 3000 foot gain. It was lovely. the fall colors are expecially nice this year. red, yellow, orange leaves everywhere. the trail gets carpeted with fallen leaves and it's so pretty to walk through... kind of a yellow leaf road. I did treadmill, elliptical, coremax, and yoga on monday and tuesday. today I am doing weights. did6.5 hours of cardio yesterday. wearing the HRM while hiking has been really informative. uphill is 110-133, downhill about 95.

Yes Valerie we can!! I really need this thread:o It keeps me honest!!
Glad to hear your tests turned out what you thought the problem was.... and I guess healthy fit people do need to take care of themselves!!:) Your "yellow leaf road" sounded lovely. I love fall!
I ended up doing Cardio kickboxing on Tuesday - nothing yesterday and hope to squeeze something in before the trick or treater's come banging on my door!!!:D My mealplan this week has been horrible - it only reinforces the idea that I MUST PLAN IN ADVANCE!!! I usually do and hate it when I'm scrambling at 6 to find something to eat - argh!!!
At school now so gotta run - but I'm here!! Hope everyone is doing well. Check in please!!!;):)

I agree... and since we're being honest, I never did get much in yesterday. 10 on the bike and maybe 15 on the elliptical. bunch of phone calls I had to take and after too many interruptions it was hard to get going again...and again....and again I forgot to mention that I did KPC once last week, I forget when.
today is a slow start but I am getting there.
