Val I miss my morning buddy!! She was having bouts of morning sickness and the thought of food...
( I thought about posting for her on the Food thread, but then thought if I posted here, she wouldn't see it-you had the same idea!!)
Maybe she is on an extended vacation! I will check the other board, to see if she has posted on the preggers thread!!

Hi Everyone,
Sorry, I didn't know we were already doing this new board. I HATE THAT!!! I liked everything the way it was.
Now to the main point ...Valerie.
She is doing pretty good although she wouldn't say that. She just can't bring herself to get back on the BB. She still has an aversion to cooking although she has no problem eating.
I know you all miss her reviews as she was always cooking and sending in great reviews.
Believe me no one misses her cooking more then her Dad and me. (well maybe her DH)
She would cook so much that on weekends she would come here loaded with goodies for us to sample. Fortunately last weekend she did crave peanut butter fudge so made up a big batch and brought some over.
Otherwise her pregnancy seems on tract and I appreciate you all asking about her. I am going to e-mail her now and see if I can convince her to respond herself.
She will be shocked at this new board!

you guys are all so incredible sweet to think of me.

this will sound strange, but on my drive home from work today I was just thinking about the bb and wondering if anyone even noticed I was gone.

mom is right. I have been feeling especially cruddy. too cruddy to cook and too cruddy to read the bb. but now, with my first trimester behind me, I think I am turning the corner. I am actually starting to feel better.

my first cooking endeavor was the pb fudge, as mom mentioned. it was awesome. I may start some "real" cooking within the next few weeks.

as far as I know, our bun is doing just fine. I got to hear his/her heartbeat several weeks ago. it was amazing. what a miracle this whole thing is!

thanks again for your concern, everyone. I hope to be back soon. maybe not right away, but in the near future.

Thanks for checking in! I'm glad everything is going well. I wasn't trying to be nosey, honest! :p I didn't feel like cooking when I was pregnant, either. I was too tired!

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Once those first three months are overwith, you will feel ten times better (generally). Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but we won't go into that.

Hope you are feeling up to cooking again soon.
