so far a decent week. Mon did bike, treadmill and elliptical for a total of 1 hr and then did the last half of GS biceps, and coremax #2. tuesday was 1 hr of yoga and 35 on treadmill, most of it at 3%. I used to run at 4% but it's been years and I'm trying to slowly work back up. today I haven't done anything yet but am thinking about muscle max which I haven't looked at for a long time. too rainy to consider outside activities right now.
so, everyone OK out there? organized and planning for turkey day yet?

Why do my workout weeks keep starting on Wednesday??? Not exactly what I have in mind, LOL. Today was 4DS High Impact Step w/Chest & Back weight work. I have to say that I wasn't all that into the step this morning. My knees and feet were protesting!!
Valerie -- You're doing great, as usual. I haven't done Muscle Max in a while, either. Sounds like fun.
I'm starting to THINK about Thanksgiving. It will just be eight of us - and everyone brings things, so not too bad. It's still way too much once we get in everyone's favorites. I have to have dressing, DS mashed potatoes, DH spicy sweet potatoes, and DSIL praline sweet potatoes!!
Speaking of rain, we got almost 4 inches Monday night/Tuesday morning. It was pouring! Everytime I woke up (which was a lot) it was still raining. Glad it stopped before I had to leave for work.
Is your hiking weather at an end now?

Thank goodness at least today I can post!!!
I worked out on Saturday - Cathe's Cardio and Weights!! Nothing Sunday...
Monday I did Cardio Overdrive and yesterday I did Super Sculpt something or other? Both FIRM workouts. Not sure if I'm going to be able to squeeze in something today - Bunco is tonight and tomorrow we have parent/teacher conferences after school.
Valerie - Your workouts so good. We're headed to my parents for turkey day and then on Friday we're driving over to my BIL's in the Pocono's. So I'm not hosting this year - only Christmas. I do plan on doing some baking this weekend so I can take some goodies along.
Stacy - Ohhhh my, the carbs sound lovely:p The same with us - canned jellied cranberry for DH, homemade cranberry sauce for DS(sister) No cranberry for DS1 and 2!!! Fun fun!!

I warmed up on the bike, then 20 min on the treadmill at 3%. then Muscle Max. whew. that is a hard one! the toughest abdominal workout of all of cathes as far as I know. the jacknife crunches and then that other move right after absolutely kill me. too early today to think about it but I don't feel sore from yesterday.
Hiking is never over. there are places to go all year but the good stuff gets snowy so we switch to snow shoeing or xc skiing. We got several inches of rain too ( lots of flooding right now) and it took out all the snow we'd gotten. things get muddy and flooded and not scenic this time of year so I'm looking forward to snow.
I'm doing thanksgiving this year with just 3 adults coming, and one is quite elderly and doesn't eat that much so it's more like another couple for dinner. they usually bring a dessert and wine and maybe an appetizer. I don't cook that many choices so it's not a killer. just not enough people to make 3 kinds of potatoes reasonable. it's simpler with one kind of cranberries, and one kind of potatoes!

OMG getting into this site is just crazy...... I just about gave up.
I'm feeling really crummy. Sinus/allergies plus stomach stufff - so nothing tonight. I'm really hoping to nip this in the bud and get back to exercising this weekend!
Valerie - Thanksgiving sounds nice. Can you believe it's 2 weeks from today?!
Have a great weekend - hope everyone is healthy!
