Why do I have to log in twice?

Hi Tech support. I registered recently and have continually had this problem: I have to log on twice before it "takes". That is, I log on, and when I go to the message boards, the display at the bottom left shows that I can't post messages, replies, etc. I have to log on a second time before I get the "welcome" message. Can you help? Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I'm also getting the Security Information box ("this site contains secure and non-secure information") every time I click on a post. Very frustrating...

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I have a similar problem -- why doesn't the site remember me anymore? I have to log in every time, with user name and password, despite having clicked the "remember me" box every time I get on. Does the site not remember people anymore?
