I made the Sangria from this months mag. Very good. I subbed Grand Marnier for the Contreu and did add extra club soda. I really liked the cinnamon taste and it made a great addition to a night of grilling. Tonight I am trying the Honey-Bourbon Grilled Pork Tenderloin from CL Complete. I will post the results.

Glad to hear the Sangria is good! I haven't made it in years and I have been eyeing that recipe. I think I will suggest we make it at our next Supper Club meeting. Thanks for the review!

Well, last night at our Supper Club we finally made the Sangria from the August '01 issue. Everyone agreed it was very good! Not too sweet and very refreshing. I substituted Triple Sec for the Cointreau and also added extra sparkling water. A great summer drink for a warm evening!
