This was very good! I actually happened to have some extra chicken apple sausage lying around that I wanted to use up! I would make this again - the chicken sausage (which is delicous already) soaks up the juices and gets sweet and tender. Yum! I served it with cornbread and roasted ptotaotes (although my potaotes took far longer to soften up than the tip suggested.)

By the way - I used Aidell's brand of Chicken & Apple Sausages, which I can find at Albertson's in small packages of 4 or huge packages of them at Costco. Just in case you just wanted to grill them - they are great plain. And they only have 7 grams of fat each!
