I've noticed that most of Cooking Lights recipe's using steak suggest flank steak. In the small town I live in, the stores do not have this. What exactly is flank steak and can another form of steak be substituted? For instance, I buy serloin tip steak. Can it be used in place of flank steak?

Check out JJ40's thread on page 4, last posted around 8/3, "Flank Steak Question." (Oh, and be sure your browser is set to show at least 10 days worth of topics, or it won't show up. Depending upon how many people post new topics before you read this, JJ40's topic might flip over to page 5.)
