Getting kicked out after inactive time--?

Moderator, starting yesterday, I'm getting kicked out of the BB after a time of inactivity. Why? Usually, I stay logged in all day & can pop in & out as my schedule permits, no matter how long it's been b/w my posts. Thanks! :)

Hmmm, haven't heard this one before. Are you logging in at https://community.cookinglight.com (note the https, not http)? That will definitely solve the logging in twice problem, tiekitty.

Yes, when I have to sign in b/c I've been kicked out. Usually, I'm signed in automatically when I choose CLBB from my "favorites" & the page opens. For the longest time, except for some rough spots with the changeover to https, being signed in automatically was enough to keep me in all day. That's why I can't figure out why, out of the blue, I'm sometimes kicked out. :confused:

It may have to do with your cookies and browser cache being cleared when you close your browser. Did you recently update or change your browser, or change any settings? The remember me checkbox just puts a cookie on your computer with your login info on it, so if you delete your cookies you'd have to log in again. Try looking at the options settings in your browser--it may be set to delete cookies every time you close the browser.
