Why is it now so difficult to sign in? Also wonder why you can't "remember me" Are there any tips?

If you are using an old link to get to the sign in page, you may need to update your bookmark once you get signed in.

Make sure it reads: https://community.cookinglight.com/

The s after the http makes a difference.

Hope this helps.

Dee, that is exactly right. Thank you.

Please also note that the links in notification e-mails and on the cl.com main page still go to http, not https (we are working on a fix). So please check the URL whenever you navigate to the boards and add that s if need be. The remember me checkbox will work if you're at an https address but not if you're at an http one.

Hope this solves the problem. If not, please post here again or e-mail me at cl_comeditor@timeinc.com

I have no problem using the http link ... but I have HUGE security issues if I use the https link. I always knew I was special

http://community.cookinglight.com (no problem at all)

tbb, I assume you're referring to the secure/non-secure items warning that pops up when you use the https page, correct?

If so, there's a solution in this thread: https://community.cookinglight.com/showthread.php?t=124204

Yes, that is what I'm referring to. But if I stay with the http sign-in I have no problems at all (I run explorer with Windows XP).

I see no reason to tweak my machine to fix your problem. I just wanted to let you know I don't have a sign on or security issue with http but I do have the security issue with the https address.
