I read the thread re: signing in and this is similar

#1 Brand new computer
#2 Brand new operating system

#3 When going to Cooking Light I always[U] go to: http://www.cookinglight.com/ because I like to see what's happening on your homepage and check out some of the articles.

#4 I go to community, click on message boards and [U]always have to re-enter my name and password even though I've asked to be remembered.

Can this be fixed? In years past I've never had to sign in, sign in, and sign in.

I'm not getting the security screen, which is a blessing but I was hoping that the new XP (used to have ME) operating system was going to clear all this up.

WORD OF PRAISE: At least w/this new computer/system I can see and read a full page w/out having to arrow over all the time.

Thanks for your time and hopefully solution, Linda ~

Not a tech support person, but have you tried using https: instead of http:?

I checked the suggestion by the CL moderator on all of the previous posts about this same issue and it says to update your bookmark with https://community.cookinglight.com. Maybe if you do that and then go from the community boards to the main website you won't have the login issues.

Hi all--
The https stuff only applies to the bulletin boards, not the regular site. However, the links to the bulletin boards from the regular site, which are what you're using, titlepending, are currently incorrect and take you to http. We will be fixing the problem soon, but for now that's why you're having to log in twice. I suggest you bookmark https://community.cookinglight.com and use that instead of the cookinglight.com homepage link.
